Wanda's Birthday Weekend, June 20, 2008

From the dinner party in Old Oakland at the Began restaurant to the Keb'Mo, Taj Mahal concert, to the cake and music and dance party at The Black New World...not to mention Aquatic Park and the AfroBeat party at Stern Grove with Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 and Sila and the AfroFunk Experience, I had so much fun!

I am still recuperating. My friend Carolyn said she hadn't had this much fun at a party that wasn't her own in a long time.

I attended a funeral on my birthday and my granddaughter's graduation from preschool. The next day I had an early dental appointment. Needlesstosay I was rather pooped Monday, June 23.
